End-of-the-year conferences and programs you won’t want to miss

It’s really amazing that, as much as marketing changes, it continues to stay the same. If someone would have told me 20 years ago that attending physical events would still be one of the primary ways we learn, network and market to prospective customers, I would have been dubious. But, from first engagement through to the desired end-user action, live events remain an integral part of the marketing journey.

At April Six, we still find that great insights are born when we’re outside of the office attending events, meeting clients and prospects, and translating ideas into action.

Although many B2B related events tend to happen in the first half of the year, there are still several great events taking place this fall. Here’s a look at a few upcoming B2B marketing related events that are high on our list:

Forrester B2B Marketing 2016

October 18-19, 2016, Miami, FL

The Forrester B2B summit helps marketers learn how to navigate the rapidly changing B2B environment. Breakout sessions and workshops will help B2B marketers do a deep dive into how to best utilize technology and data to create the right sales enablement plan across all media touch points. Speaking at this event, will be one of our favorite analysts, Laura Ramos.

Marketing Profs Annual B2B Marketing Summit

October 19-21, 2016, Boston, MA

This year marks the 10th annual summit of this mammoth conference. With over 500 participating brands in 2015, this self-proclaimed “quirky” event is a great way to mingle and learn from leading B2B industry marketers. Three full days of workshops, keynotes, and networking events are scheduled. And with daily doses of yoga, running, and adult refreshment breaks—this event puts the fun back into B2B marketing.

Sirius Decisions- B2B Technology Exchange

November 15-17, 2016, Austin, TX

The modern day B2B marketer relies on a seemingly never-ending arsenal of technology to achieve their goals. This event focuses on how technology can be leveraged and aligned across sales, marketing and product organizations to drive competitiveness. We are big fans of Sirius Decisions Summit, and definitely look forward to this year’s tech-stack perspective.
